The rain’s been a-fallin, and the wind’s been a-blowin, but fankfully it seems that none of our Village residents has been severely affekted by the latest hissycane that blewed around. There been effex of it all ober tho, and the Village has been gatherin GLOW to send to areas what has had a bad time wif this newest wether disaster. {{ }} Most of us just been kinda soggy, soakin in the rain lately. The Villagers also remembered the annipurrsary of 9-11 ....
Along wif rain, there’s been some other fings in the sky. Some of the kits in the rural area have welcomed some furry interestin guests to the Village, while some speshul signs have appeared in skies and cornfeelds. = Strange Fings inna Sky =

Somefing stranje has been happenin in the Village lately, and Oreo and some of the Villagers has been having quite a time! Check out All Around the Village below fur all the unworldly mews on this ebent....
A speshul sign seemed to appear in the sky the other day. Ober Clover Blossom Farm, amid raindrops fallin in the sunshine, a most beeyooteeful and full rainbow majically bloomed in the sky. Above it, was a second rainbow, fainter ... like a halo, and they was facin Nikki’s Garden. The SnowtaKits feeled that this was Nikki takin a walky-walk along the Rainbow Bridge itself, just comin to say ‘hay’ to effurrykit and let effurryone know how wunnerful it is there ...

= Climb Aboard =

The Wiscats were happy as little clams when they saw what their mom was puttin togeffur for them the other day ... a new kitty tree! It was a neato one, wif lotsa perches and a lil house fingy to hide in, and they all tooked turns tryin it out. They is pleased wif their mom’s purrchase.

= Murray’s Worries =

Murray Purrple, our newest Village resident, has been kinda worried lately. He’s lost a lil bit of wate resently, and has a baldy spot on his back. But, since his vetdokter didn’t seem to conserned about it, and it was sugjested that mebbe the wether or chanje in food mite have made a diffrence, Murray is a much happier kit knowin his is a-okeydoke.

= Fun Time =

Tonks Whee has been havin a grate time lately playin wif her new bruthergoggie, Nortee. They ruff’n’tumble around the house, and iffen Nortee ... who is gettin biggerer ... gets too tumbly, Tonks is reddy wif the toe-razors to remind him to be more gentler. Sammy still isn’t too happy about the new pupster.

= Speshul Story =

A speshul story about a senior kitty who found a grate new home has come our way. Ashes Keeper wanted to tell the story strate from the kitty’s mouf, so here is Ashes:

~ New Mom at Ten Years Old!! ~
MOL got your attention now!
My name is Ashes and I am 10 years old, part Russian Blue, they tell me. I weighed in at nine pounds at the vet, but my new human says I need a few more pounds, I am too thin.
Well here is my tale of woe. I lived at one home, strictly a house cat, for all 10 of my years. Then that human said Ashes you got to go outside I am having a human baby. I didn't understand till the opened the door and let me outside. It was fun for a while but when night came it wasn't fun anymore and kind of frightening. They left food out for me and petted me once in awhile, but it was never to be the same life I knew.
I lucked out the human next store took pity on me and called a human to come get me. I am now adjusting to my new home with 4 other kits. I will stay here forever my new human Mom says, in the house, 3 meals a day and lots of love.
So see New Mom at 10 years can work. :)

= Ella Kitkat =
Ella wasn’t feelin too good this past week wif some breethin isshues, and ended up in the kitty horsepiddle. Lukkily, her mom works there, so she was well taken care of. After a coupla days there, Ella is home and feelin much betterer, and gettin auntybiotikal shots to help her out.

= Beau & Poucette Wiscat =
Beau had a vetdokter bisit, and he did grate! Effurryfing is goin well, and he is up to 8 pounds, 11 pounces! Poucette wasn’t feelin too good fur a few days and didn’t wanna eat nuffin, so her mom was rather concerned. Pou soon purrked back up tho, and started eatin, and is feelin okeydoke now.

= Muffin StLouie =
Muffin had her numbers chekked at the vetdokter’s last week, and altho her red number is doin okeydoke, her kittney numbers has gone up. Muffin isn’t real happy about this, on accounta she now gotta get water torchur effurry day, and hasta try to eat some yukky kittney food. She don’t like the food, so effurry has been encourajin her to keep tryin to eat it so she can feel betterer.

= Graci Snowa =
Graci saw the vetdokter again on Monday. She started feelin betterer and eatin up again, so that was a good fing. Her red number is now at 30, which is in the low normal ranje, so she prolly will get to have her toofers fixed soon.

Several foster kittens in NY played spades and gotted tootered, and is doin just fine. A coupla others will wait until they is biggerer/healfier. There’s a new foster puppy at the NY’s too, and is havin fun gettin used to his tempurrary home.

A sick senior naybor lady who the NY hooman fambly has been helpin take care of had to have some sturjery done after she got really sicky. She is doin betterer, still in the horsepiddle, and hopefully will be able to move back wif her son to his state soon.
