Shine on, shine on, harvest moon ... up in the sky ..... And shine it did! It was spektacular full moon last week, and altho it was a beeyooty, it sure caused some havoc around the Farm here. Some of the boykits (I’m not namin any names) here was eggstra sooper crazy during that full moon! It’s offishully autumn now, so many Villagers have been spotted out on fall color walks around the area.
It’s been a kinda slow week around the Village fur actual mews occurrin, but it sure has been a bizzy time in the soshul and adbenchur areas. An unworldly time is bein had in the rural areas of MeowChat Village, some kits has been finkin about startin datin again, and some kit literally rebersed her weddin vowels. There was also the loss of a lil Villager ... so read on to find out what’s goin on around town rite here in the Mews!

LOCAL MEWS

= Speshul Angel =

The sad mews reached us last nite that lil Lorelei TenHouseCats has passed on to the Rainbow Bridge. She had neber been returned to her mom after bein stoled away, and her mom is furry sad that Lorelei wasn’t at home wif her when she made her final journey. Lorelei had FeLV, and it is unclear rite now whether that contributed to her passin. She is surbibed by her lovin mom Aunty MC, her kitty pawrents ShyRaven Purr and Gus Noblekit, her many bruther and sisfurs kits, and many frends. Goodbye, Lorelei ... you are home now, and always in our harts ...

= Who’s Been Sleepin In My Bed? =

Wilbur, the StLouie Yardcat, know where life is good, and he’s been comin inside more and more resently. He still has the urje to be outside, but when the wether gets colder, he mite chanje his mind. Wilbur’s been makin some pals around the StLouie household as well, and playin like a good boy. He and Polly StLouie were spotted curled up sleepin in the same bed resently, so it may not be long afore he desides the indoor only life is fur him.

= Datin Time =

Murray Purrple hasn’t been too happy lately, what with his mom havin some dates wif some hooman guys. Murray would rather have his mom at home with him, but grudginly gave his appuroval to check out a coupla hoomanmens, as long as she purromised to come home to him.
Munchkin Catnip has also desided to give casual datin a whirl again, altho her furmer luvs and hubbykits is fureber in her hart. Several kits, incloodin Murray Purrple and Michael Idyhokit, have asked Munchie out on dates.

= Climbin On Up =

The Connecticats got a surprise the other day ... a new cat tree! “It’s a 5-seater,” says Pixie Connecticat, and she and her siblins have been havin a grate time checkin it out, climbin up and down, and claimin lebels fur their furry own.


THE MEOWDICAL REPURRT

=.Munchkin Catnip & Fambly =

Munchkin and her furry rellytiffs have been goin thru some tuff times resently. Munchkin’s toomer has been found to be growin back again, and her fambly is furry sad about that. We hasn’t heard yet what the treetment opshuns are.
The Catnip Crew’s cuzzin kitty, Cynthia, is furry ill wif a libber purroblem, and her mom isn’t around to take care of her. Her hooman aunty is a vet tech and is tryin furry hard to help Cynthia get well again. Nephew-goggie Dezi has been havin purroblems wif bladder stones again, and was in the horsepiddle. They hopes the diet and some medisins will help Dezi feel good again soon.

= Diana Michicat =

Diana, who’s been doin so well wif her cansfur treetment, wasn’t feelin too good resently, and not wanting to eat. Her vetdokter found out that there is some libber purroblem goin on, and they shouldn’t do the keemo treetments any more. Diana is being cared for by her mom, and hopefully we will be bringin you good mews on this soon.

= Justin NYC =

Justin wasn’t actin hissownself the other day, what wif sleepin a lot and not eatin, so his mom bringed him to the vet fur a check up and tests. The vetdokter couldn’t find anyfing wrong wif him, and he’s back to normal again, but his mom awaits his test results just in case.



THE FOSTER CONNEKSHUN

= Wiscatsin =

ARF had anuther ebent in which a florist sponsored them as a charity, and made 700 greenpapers fur the shelter. The foster Mexican-food kitties are all doin well, but they havin a bit of a purroblem learnin how to use the litterbox.

= Mew York =

A kitten was adopted resently in NY, and it is hoped that others will soon follow to fureber homes.

= Lawn Guyland =

Sadly, a kitty that libed in a colony taken care of by the AHAL ladies was found gone to the Bridge, after a tangle wif a metal monster. Aunty Dottie also finded a lost or dumped SOBOL at her bus parkin lot, which was taken in and is bein cared for by the rescue ladies. They had bigg doings this weekend wif a microchip clinick, adopshun faire, and yardsale, and did bring in enuff greenpapers to have some kitties play spades and get tooteered

= Minnesnowta =

One of the remainin two feral barnkittens was catched last nite, and is now at the vetdokters’ awaitin tooterin or spades playin. S/he will be released outside again after s/he heals up.


HOOMAN BEANS

= Wheesmom =

Aunty Patti had her surjery last week, and it wented well. The doctors tooked the lumpie out, and some limp nodes out, but some tests showed they didn’t see no bad fings in them. They is awaitin more test results this week. Aunty Patti didn’t need no skin graft neither, which will make healin quicker. Several hellofone calls to other MeowChat moms from Aunty Dani (Patti’s mom) helped all the Village be releefed that fings was going purrty well and fine. She is recoberin at home wif the help of daddyScott, gramaDani, grampaDon, and of course Sammy!

= Aunty Andi Alaskykit =

Aunty Andi gave the Villagers the sad mews that her mom ... Pita and Sassy’s hooman gramma ... had gone on to the hooman Rainbow Bridge. The Village sends their britest glow and luv on this sad loss ...

= Aunty Kaffy Furrlorida =

Aunty Kaffy is have an EGG test done today, to see iffen she gots any branes in her noggin. (just kiddin, Aunty Kaffy!! ;) ) She gonna have that test done to measure her waves in her branes to see why she havin so many hedakes again, and hopefully them doctors will be able to help her.

= SnowtaPapa =

SnowtaPapa is going back and forf in his recobery. He has had p-namonia this past week and is back on a respurrator, but somehow not bein able to talk again has impurroved his writin skills. Sometimes there is signs that the ‘old’ Papa is still there, and other times he don’t do so well and says some really off the wall fings. The doctors fink he should have purrgressed further by now, but only time will tell.

Hello everyone!
This is Squashy, your cat inbetween two doorways. I can't decide which room to be in so I just gonna lie down inbetween them as I type.
Anyhow, I digress... I am sure you are all anxiously awaiting the results of this week's photo contest. Da big weiner for this week is Antares Meowzers in first place. That is one long stretch that cat is pulling and it is an obviously plot to take up as much of the sunny window spot as possible so his brother and sister get none. That is one shifty aby cat I tell you. Anyhow, he is the big weiner. Second place went to them kittens that were smooshed in the little hanging swing. It was a tight fit for sure. Then third place went to a tie group of Munchie, Sprite, Tigger and Simba. Congratulations to everyone who entered for such fine photos. They were all cute.
Now on to this week's contest. This week is a baby photo contest. That means it has to be a baby picture of a cat that is now all growed up and we know what it looks like. You can post the baby and adult cat pictures both in the same post by holding down the control key when you choose from the gallery. Please keep the 2 photos in the same post. It can be a bridge kitty as well if you want. Make sure to put the kitty name on the subject heading.
The rule is : You must have a baby picture and an adult picture in the same post. I am a stickler for rules you know... memeheehee
OK, well, now on to the voting part. Each family gets 6 votes this week, but no more than one vote for each entry. In other words, no stuffing the ballot box. mememehee
I know there are some of us kits, like myself, that don't have no baby pictures. Don't be sad. We have the special job of making sure to vote this week.
