As summer turns into autumm (or into winter, or back into summer ... or whateber the wether desides to do today), the Villagers have been furry bizzy. They can be seen in their yards, and in the Village Square, decoratin fur fall and Halloween. At Clover Blossom Farm, the pumkins is turnin orangey and are almost reddy fur pickin fur Halloween, and the corn is dryin on the stawks. The valley below, near the Catnip Ribber, looks nearly on fire wif the beeyooteeful changin fall colors. Can the annual Ribberboat Cruize be far away?
A new lil Villager joined the community last week, and a sad goodbye was sed to another. The baby foto contest was fun to look at, and a hooman got some really grate mews the other day. Find out what’s mew around your Village, rite here in the Mews!

LOCAL MEWS

= Angel Kitty =

The Village bid a peaceful journey to the Bridge to Smudge Midask9 resently. Smudge wasn’t doin too well wif fings, and her mom and dad gently sent her on where she could be happy and free again. She will be missed by her luvin mom and dad and fursiblins, and her many frends in the Village. We are happy you are happy now, Smudge .... best wishes in your new adbenchurs ...

= New Lil Villager =

The Kitkat fambly got a new lil sisfur last week. Lil Kia (furmerly known as Kiab, for Kitten In A Box), is about 4 months old, and was a stray kitty. She played spades last week successfully, and was bringed home to meet her new bruthers and sisfurs. Bruther Ray is showin her around the house, and Kia enjoys sleepin on the HSCB. She is furry happy to be in her new fureber home.

= Pichur Time =

Besides all the luvly baby pichurs that were shown this week, Shelby Floridacat-Wiscat posted some pichurs of herownself. She is still the luvly gal she was 10 years ago. She also shared, in a chat, some wunnerful artwork that her mom has done and some other pichurs. The Villagers oohed and ahhed ober them, and was happy that Shelby had shown them.

= Not Fair =

Some pawrents in the Village has been found gilty of lockin kitties in clawsets unfairly! Graci Snowta found herself shut in a bedroom clawset the other day after she went lookin fur her daddy in there, and he shut the door! Her mom called and called fur her for a furry long time, and looked effurrywhere in the house. Finely she heard Graci callin, and let the confoozled lil wide-eyed Purrshun out. Graci indignantly desided to sell her pawrents on cBay, but frends meowed her out of that.
Maddie Catnip was also locked in a closet obernite resently, wif no litterbox or nuffin! She was ritely upset and tried to offer her pawrents up to the highest bidder too, but unfurtunately, the market fur used pawrents is furry slow rite now.

= Dum Computers =

The Snowtas’ computer is throwin hissy fits the last few days ... ironically, one year after it did the same fing. Just flat out refused to go online, hmmph. Pawsibly an A*L purroblem, despite SnowtaMom uninstallin, reinstallin, and pullin her headfur out, this time the computer sits and laffs at her. So, they is usin a old, slow one fur now, which likes to play MisterFreezie sometimes, so don’t be surprised iffen you see them on and offline like jumpin beens.


THE MEOWDICAL REPURRT

= Melanie & Muffin StLouie =
Melly saw the new vetdokter lady the other day fur a lumpie that she’s had on her face fur awhile, but it was gettin a lil biggerer. The vetlady sed is wasn’t too much to worry about and just to keep an eyeboll on it. Muffin also had a checkup and had her red number checked ... she is back up to 37, so no ruth’n’pete’n shot fur now.

= Munchkin Catnip =
Munchkin got her numbers back from the vetdokter, and the good mews is that her kittney numbers has impurroved, bofe the buns and the creechur numbers. Her red number did go down tho, so Munchkin gonna get her blood ironed out to help.

= Justin NYC =
Justin got his test results back too, and it showin that he is startin to make bladder diamonds. His mom is gonna chanje his food and give him some cranbaby supplyments, and hopefully that will help.

= Graci Snowta =
Graci was supposeta have her toofies cleened and some pulled out this week, but after havin her blood stoled and tested, the vet did not wanna do it. Graci’s buns and creechur numbers have bofe gone up a lot, and the vetdokter sed the auntythesia would be too risky. Graci’s red number was about the same as last time, so she just gonna keep gettin her normal food and medisin rooteen, wif water torchur twice a day now.

= Tita Hulakit =
Tita has been gettin some shots and fings in purrepurrashun of movin to Hawaii soon. Iffen she gets all her shots and stuff taked care of here in adbance, then she only hasta have a short kwaranteen when she get to the island.


THE FOSTER CONNECKSHUN

= Lawn Guyland =
A former rescue kitty who had been adopted by Aunty Dottie’s sisfur passed on to the Bridge last week. Cynthia had libber disease, and was too sick to go on. An adopshun fair brought in a thousand greenpapers last weekend, and adopted out 7 kitties, so that was good mews. In other sad mews, a lil oranjey kitty named OJ that had been adopted out was bringed in to a vet and told be be send to the Bridge cuz he lunjed at the lady. OJ was found to have injuries on him, and the ladies is furry upset about this. Litterbom misshuns and DNA lists has been discussed, along wif other creatiff ways of dealin wif animal abusers ....

= Wiscatsin =
ARF had its crafty sale this past weekend, and altho the greenpaper amount isn’t offishully in, the crafters were pleased wif their sales, and ARF was happy wif the donashuns. Aunty Norma was furry tired tho, after her long weekend of organizin and helpin wif this ebent.

= Mew York =
A furry young kitten has gone to the Bridge after resently havin been found and cared for. Several other foster kits and I fink a goggies has arrived in Mew York too to be fostered.

= Minnesnowta =
One of the feral barnkitties was trapped and tootered last week; Rico(chet) did fine and was released about 24 hours after sturjery. Rebel, the barnkitten inside, was also tootered and got stikky shots last week, so he can be hopefully adopted out better. One more kitten to be trapped ...

Papa is recoverin from his p-namonia furry well, is bein weenered off his respurrator again. He is doin well learnin to eat again, and doin meowmory eggcersizes wif Dad to help Papa remember what is real and what is not real.
