A nip (catnip?) is definitely in the air fur the norfern areas of the Village, which is a sure sine that fall is here and winter is comin. The soybeens and corn in the feelds is all brown and dry now, and it won’t be long afore the bigg masheens come to eat them all up. Halloween is rite around the corner, and punkins is abailable at Clover Blossom Farm and other areas, so make sure to stop by fur a cup of apply cider while you pick out the purrfect one. The Halloween Costume contest will soon be underway, and no doubt lotsa pardees will be happenin, so get those costumes and makeup reddy!
It has been a sad week wif the loss of two more Villagers, and a terrible occurrence at someone’s house. On the other paw, someone sellybrated an annipurrsary this week, a kitty got some speshul attenshun from a sisfurkit, and an eggcitin new adbenchur is goin on. = Loss of Longtime Resident =

The Village was greatly saddened this week to hear that Diana DexConDi ... a MeowChat Village resident fur 10 years ... had passed on to the Rainbow Bridge. Eben tho Diana and her bruthers and sisfur hadn’t been able to come to chat wif us, the Village was kept infurmed of their goings on thru Mayor Catnip. Diana had been battlin cansfur, and doing well wif her keemo, when she suddenly tooked a turn fur the worse wif libber purroblems.
Diana is surbibed by her mom Aunty Jackie, and her siblins Dexter, Conner, and Emmy. She will be furry much missed by all who knewed her. You are free now, Diana .... fly happy and we’ll see you again someday ... {{{ }}}

= Kitty Angel =

Anuther sad loss befell MeowChat Village this week, with the loss of Crash Mainecat. Crash slipped out of the house late at nite, and lost her battle wif a metal monster. She is sadly missed by her mom and dad Aunty Jaime and Unkle Steven, and fursiblins Gabby, Mya, and Quinn. Happy adbenchurs to you, Crash, and we will all miss your purrty face .... {{{ }}}

= Fire! =

The Kitkat fambly has been dealt anuther blow; on Friday, their home catched on fire! A plummer doin some work unnerneaf the mobile home somehow set off a spark and a fire, which caused lotsa smoke to get into the home. Furtunately, Aunty Linda and all of the kits got out safely. Murray Purrple has got himself some new threds this week. After gettin the wrong size walkin jakket at furst, he now has a spiffy new walkin jakket that is just his size. He’s gettin used to wearin it, and hopefully will be able to show it off soon wif a walk down to the Town Square. Be on the watch out, single girlkits ... this fashunable dood is abailable. ;)

= Hammerin and Sawin =

Larry and Russell Snowta, along wif their dad and papa (the other papa) was bizzy this past week clearin out and buildin a new floor fur the lil hay barn on Clover Blossom Farm. Larry instructed his hoomans on how to do effurryfing rite, and the floor turned out furry nice.
Meanwhile, afore the floor got done, Graci Snowta and a coupla other Villagers were ‘splorin in the barn tryin to help out, and got themselfs into quite some interestin sichuashuns. Check out All Around the Town below to see what’s been goin on ....

= Nice Bafftime =

Sylvie Wiscat got a nice lil surprise the other day. Eben tho most kitties don’t like bafftime, this was a furry speshul baff she got, indeed. Big sisfur Annie-Claire desided to help her lil siblin out by givin her a good face and headwashin. Crouchin down ober her, Annie spended a long time bein a good aunty and givin Sylvie some nice motherin. Meanwhile, Sylvie purred contentedly at the nice time they had togeffur.

= A Happy Annipurrsary =

Amazinly enuff, Buttercup Midask9 has just sellybrated her furst annipurrsary of bein at her fureber home wif her fambly. That year went mitey quick, and Butternut has grown from a lil kitten to a beeyooteeful young lady. Happy Annipurrsary to you, Butterfly!

= Muffin StLouie =
Muffin saw the vetdokter and had her red number checked again. Unfurtunately, it went back down again to 25, so Muffin got a ruth’n’pete’n shot. That should bring her red number back up again where it belongs.

= Beau Wiscat =
Beau had a checkup a few days ago, and along wif his mom, the whole clinic is rejoycing. Beau is up to 9.3 pounds now (!), which is about 3 pounds more than he was when he wasn’t feelin so good. Beau is doin purrty good now, and effurry is concatulatin him on a job well done.

= Fiona Kitkat =
Fiona had blood stoled fur tests last week, and didn’t get such good mews. Her kittney numbers is all furry high, and her vetdokter finks she is in end-stage kittney failure. Fiona is so far feelin not too bad, so her mom is takin each day at a time and treetin the kitty, not the numbers.

Fur as we can tell, effurryfing is a-okeydoke in the foster/tempurrary furries depurrtment! One of the NY foster kittens got a new home, and effurry foster/tempurrary around the Village is doin okey.

This is Squashy, your cat in the dreamland. I has been snoozing and dreaming all week and I still am in the middle of a snooze. I am currently snoozing right in the middle of mommy’s bed. It is the most convenient place for me to make sure I get affections whenever I wants them.
But I digress. Mommy has had a mopey week. She moping around like a big whiney baby just cuz she wants to mope for no good reason. So therefore, I has developed a plan to unmope mommy. A happy mommy is a mommy that pays closer attention to my food bowl and cat box.
So, da plan for this week is to have a new photo contest. This contest is entitled “hahaha” The idea is to make mommy laugh and get her out of the mopeys. All pictures must be submitted by Wednesday night and voting then starts. You can vote until Friday Night. You get 6 votes but you can not give more than one vote to any kit.
