Well, wif all the fun and actibities always goin on around the Village, it’s no wonder ... cuz time sure flies when you’re havin fun! Don’t worry ...there’s plenny more ebents to enjoy and joy to be had this summer, so hold onto your hats, and enjoy the ride!
Another farely bizzy week in the Village, wif some corny adbenchurs goin on, a speshul occashun fur one MeowMom, a neat poem from our house poet, and the loss of one our Villagers ... our sisfur. Adventurin Angel

Maggie May SnowtaKit, who was an adbenchurin barnkit fur most of her life, has left on the ultimate journey. Maggie spent the last two years as an offishal SnowtaKit, but lost her furry short battle wif CRF last week. She is surbibed by her sad momPamela and dadBill, her many siblin incloodin speshul sisfur EmmaJean, and many frends in the Village. She’s packed her bags ... she’s on her way ...

Bobbin fur Bobs

Marmalade Purr had a fun time last week while huntin bobs in the kitchen. He could hear one skitterin around under the cabinet, but couldn’t see it. Despite doin lots of head-bobbin, poor Marmalade neber did catch that bob, and the Purr kitties wait to see if it will show up again.

A Corny Adbenchur

Jordi Snowta has wandered off on an adbenchur again. A curious kitty who does afore she finks, Jordi’s mornin walk in the cornfield is turnin into somefin a lil more eerie, and some of the Villagers are out lookin fur her. Lawn Soopervishun

A new lawn-mowin soopervisor has been seen around town. Willie StLouie has taken ober this job, and after his apprentiseship wif soopervisin the naybor boy mowin the lawn, Wilbur is reddy to help out any in need. Many other kits, such as Mufassa FLCountry and the Purrkits enjoy watchin their pawrents mow as well, and Willie is willin to help soopervise them if necessary, to make sure the job is done.

Buffay Nite

The kits in chat the other nite was plesantly surprised when Ash, Zade, and Tares Meowzers arrived wif a whole purrime ribb buffay! They manajed to sneek some out when their pawrents enjoyed their own buffay on bacashun, and bringed it all back fur the chatters to enjoy. A feast to fit feline appetites, it was!

Movin Time

Mufassa and Isis FLCountry may have a line on a new home to rent soon. They is tired of livin in a tent, and hope to see be in their new place to roam and eggsplore and see the new world out the winnows.

Fankfully, not much new in this depurrtment this week. Nicky Catnip is still workin on gettin his owie claws betterer, and Beau Wiscat is still not eatin enuff ... his mom is workin furry hard to get some food in him. Quentin Indianacat got to skip out on a vetdokter checkup last week, and he was purrty happy about that.

Aunty Dottie and AHAL held a sale and adopshun ebent a few days ago, which went purrty well. They got enuff greenpapers to help some ferals play spades and be tootered, and reseeved a few adopshun applicashuns too.

Aunty Norma helped out ARF resently, sittin at a table by a bigg store, givin out infurmashun on ARF. They solded some of their cookbooks, and some shoppers took wish lists and buyed the fings that the shelter needs most.

A bigg concatulashuns goes to Aunty Jaime (Moxie’s mom)(and Unkle Steve, acourse) on their meowrridge this past weekend. The weddin went fine, the bride was beeyooteeful, and effurry in the Village toasts the luvly hooman cupple and wishes them and their furries long and happy lives togeffur.

Aunty Sharon hadn’t been feelin up to purr lately, and it was resently discobered that she has diebeeties. So fur, it is takin some time to get the shugar lebels adjusted, and many have sent glow fur that to happen soon.

Dis is a pome I rote about 5 yeers ago when we had a foster who hated other cats, and was furry hard to get dopted becuz ob her reely fresh, bitey and scratchy tude wiff hoomans. She was dopted once and returned wiff more fresher tude den she left wiff. Dere was eben some talk ob sending hur to da bridge, but Mama woodent heer ob it. She seemed doomed to live hur life in a cage in our house wiff so many cats.
Den Mama discobered dat she luffed one ob da foster kiddens. When Mama wood let da foster kiddens out she started leefin Patty out fur eggzersize, too. Den one day two men came into da house to dopt da liddle kidden. We all thot it wood be a reely sad day fur Patty. But we were furry surprised when they felled in luff wiff Patty, too! They had just losed dere senior kitty, Annie, who was full ob fresh tude and looked just like Patty. Two days after dey took da kidden dey sent an applicashun fur Patty, too. Mama said it was a match made in hebben. So, on Fathers day, 2004, Patty set out to hur noo furebber home, where she is still lubbed to dis day.
