Can summer be almost ober? Say it isn’t so. When grumblins of school meow moms goin back to work combine with the end of summer bacashuns and actibities, you know it’s coming. The cornfeelds and bejebul gardens are growin like crazy around Clover Blossom Farm (and so are the weeds!), so picklin and cannin is a sure sign around here that summer is windin down.
It’s been quite an eggcitin week around the Village. Pardees, a weddin, a groop bacashun, fun the summertime ... some nice fings that all of the Villagers can share togeffur. Sharing fings is how we all got to be frends, and how we will all remain togeffur thru thick and thin. Keep up on all that’s goin on around the Village, and join rite in, here in the Mews!

= Adbenchurous Baby =

Despite her limited mobility, little MaddyLou Wiscat sure can get around! While momNorma was bizzy in the bedroom, unbeknownst to her, MaddyLou manajed to make her way out of the bedroom and down the hall. After searchin the room, momNorma found Maddy surrounded by her bruthers and sisfurs, just all sittin there and have a nice visit. Maddy shows much purromise wif her fizzical therapy and potty trainin.

= No Salad Fur You! =

Spencer Furlorida got quite a diskapointment resently. After momKaffy and Gramma finished a luvly furragrant meal of toona salad, Spencer was sure he was next in line fur a bowl. When none was furthcoming, he desided to check it out and mebbe help himownself to some. Alas, the hoomans were stinjy, and refused to share with Spencer or the others. It looks like Shelby will need to get that resipee ...

= Flower Cookies =

Jeopardy ThreeCalicos and her sisters got to smell somefing quite interestin the other day ... flower cookies! Their momKaye had some cookies made with labender, but the girlkits were hoping that she would make them some catnip ones as well. Their mom also made some purrty decorashuns, but not with catnip ... they wouldn’t last furry long!


= Bizzy Bigg Bob Catcher =

Triller Whee has been a bizzy boy lately. He’s been huntin and catchin some furry bigg bobs around the house, making sure his hoomans is all safe from them. Triller’s also been headbonking with the local wildwhees when they come to visit at the door.

Nicky may not need sturjery on his toe after all, as a vetdokter has determined that it doesn’t seem to have any cansfur in it. They are continuin with soaks and meds, and hopin that will help. Meadow’s azzma is better with a new medisin, but Maddie is feelin a bit poorly lately and not wanting to eat. She is losing wate, and her mom is worried about her.

Foster kittens are doing much better now, while their feral mom and sisfur remain to be caught. Other wild kittens was TNRd resently, and seem to be doin okeydoke.

= Shrimpie Clan =

A necropsy repurrt back from a resent kitten loss indicated a bad strain of coxxidea is to blame. All the other kitties there is takin some strong medisin to help them get rid of the buggies.


HOOMAN BEANS

Several of the Meowmoms has been off and on workin (or finkin about workin) on some memory type books with fotograffs and meowmurrabilia. Some of these books inclood all pets, past and purresent, while others are fur rememberin Bridge pets. Hopefully someday soon, pichurs of these creashuns can be posted on the Craft Cats message board in MeowChat.
