Can it be that Labor Day Weekend is nearly upon us? Wow, it’s sure been a bizzy summer, and it hardly went by in the wink of an eyeboll. Labor Day starts the autumm season with skool startin again, leafs turnin colors, and a nip in the air ... altho many parts of the Village have alreddy been gettin chilly! So, grab your swetters or beekeenis, as the case may be, cuz Labor Day Weekend will be filled with lots of fun pardees, piknic, food, and fun!
Sadly, the Village lost anuther longtime resident this week after a long illness. Effurryone is furrvently hopin that this is the end of losses. Several fosterkitties were tootered, the road trip carried on, and someone got a new bruther! Check out all the mews that mew in the Village, rite here in the Mews!

= SOBOL Angel =

The Village sed byebye this week to a furry speshul SOBOL boy. Beau Wiscat, who’d been dealin with several illnesses ober the past few years, has taken his trip to the Rainbow Bridge. He is sadly missed by his momNorma, his wifeykit Meadow Catnip, his bruthers and sisfurs, and his many frends. He joins several beloved siblins, happy and healthy now, at the Bridge. Fly free and happy, Beau ... we will see you again ... {{{ }}}

The Bridge gates have been bizzy welcomin kits this week. Budweiser ‘Bud’ Kitmas was called to the Rainbow suddenly the other day, after he became ill. He is missed by his momSandi, hoomansisfur Darlene, and siblins. Bud had a joyful reunion with goggie sisfur Secret at the Bridge. {{ }}
The Catnip Crew also resently sed goodbye to cuzzin/grandkitty BooBoo. BooBoo had some hart issues, and she is much missed by her momJonnie, grammaDottie, and her famblie. BooBoo is happy to be with bruther BamBam again, as purrty purrshun angels. {{ }}

= New Bruther =

Who’s got a new bruther? It seems the Midask9 Clan has adopted a new boykit, and Marvin is purrty purroud of his new bro. An American Curl kitty, with curly ears, was in need of a home, and Marvin just couldn’t resist him. The new kitty’s name is Sonic, and he’s bizzy rite now adjustin to his new home and siblins. Effurry is waitin ankshusly to hear more about Sonic. Give him a bigg welcum when you see him around the Village!

= Sally Hoodini =

Sally Snowta sure has been a majishun-kit lately ... makin herownself distappear! It seems that Sally has found a way to sneek out of the enclosure pen attached to the back porch, despite SnowtaMom not seein any bigg enuff openings fur her to squeeze thru. Sally usually ends up rite on the front porch where she is grabbed, but the other day she was on TOP of the pen, scratchin at the fensin at the winnow to come back in!

= Dookin Lisenses =

It has come to the attenshun of the Chatroom Purrtrol that some kits are unaware of the rekwirements fur dookin in the chatrooms. A license must be purrchased at Kitty Hall, and is only good Toosday thru Sunday, unless you purrchase a separate Monday Stamp Purrmit. All caught dooking without a license will be given one warning, then tossed in the hoosegow.

= Labor Day Actibities =

Labor Day actibities will begin on Friday in MeowChat chat, and on the boards, with a potluk piknik and danse down by the ribber. You are inbited to bring some food, your fambly, and have some fun! = Taki Noblekit =
Taki took a trip to the vetdokter the other day when he wasn’t feel well and barfin. The vetdokter gived him some medisin, and he is back home again feelin a lil bit betterer.

= Benji & Cookie Connecticat =
The little guys were tootered the other day, and are doin real well now. They were a lil sleepy and seein pink ellyfunks fur awhile, but Benji and Cookie are now furry smart and rompin around.

= Remi Snowta =
Remi had his blood stoled as long as he was at the vetdokter’s havin a luvly lioncut done. The tests came back just about as purrfekt as they could be, espeshully fur an 11-year-old kitty. Remi is happy about that, but is seekin out the sunny windows lately to warm up now that he’s bald.

= MaddyLou Wiscat =
Maddy is doin furry well with her fizzical therapy, and has even learned to crawl up on the bed by herownself and to sit sometimes like a reglar kitty. She is makin much purrogress.

= Maddie Catnip =
Maddie Catnip is feelin betterer. The eat-up medisin is really helpin to give her an appytite, and she’s been eatin more lately.

Two more foster kittens, Baghira and Rachel, have founded their new fureber homes.

= Minnesnowta =
Charlie Snowtafosterkit was tootered this week, and was back to his normal pouncin annoyin jigantical self in no time at all. It is hoped a fureber home will be found soon.

= Lawn Guyland =
There’s a new fosterkitten in the Catnip’s garage foster area; a lil boykitten. Once he is all soshulized and well, he will be lookin fur a new home.
