Labor Day has come and gone, and no matter what the callynder sez ... that’s the start of autummm! Many end-of-summer actibities took place ober the weekend, and now the lil kitties is gettin reddy fur their furst day of skool. The corn is fully grown and gettin dry alreddy here at Clover Blossom Farm, and summer bejebuls is nearly gone. We’ve still got lots to do in the autumm tho, incloodin the annual Ribberboat Crooze, so keep your eyebolls open fur mews of more fun to come!
The Village eggsperienced anuther sad loss this week, and anuther frend is furry ill. One of our members had himself an aksident, while some kittens are comin into their own with some antics. Catch up on all that’s been goin on rite here in the Mews!

= Sweet Angel =

Anuther loss of a much-loved Villager occurred this week when Emma Kitkat made her final journey. Emma was 17 and had some health issues, and she desided it was time to go. She is surbibed by her sad mom, AuntyLinda, her many siblins, and many friends in the Village. She joins her mamacatDelilah and other Kitkat Angels at the Rainbow Bridge in joy. Be in peace .... {{ }}

= Road Tripp =

Willie StLouie desided to take himself a little road tripp last week ... litterally. Willie, who normally stays nicely in his own backyard, chased a kitty outta his yard resently, and stumbled when he came to the bizzy road. A metalmonster bumped him, and he gotted a bad broked legg. Lukkily a naybor saw, and Willie got to the vetdokter rite away. He had sturjery by a fancy vetdokter a few days later, and now has a metal plate in his legg. He is recobering inside, and hopefully that’s where Willie will want to stay now.
= Purrapy =

Spencer Furlorida has found a uneek way to help his mom when she gets a hedake. He crawls up on her tummy, and purrs so loudly that Kaffy’s pains go away furry soon. He is quite the purr-therapist, and may be givin lessons on this interestin method in the future.

= WhapWhapWhap =

One kitten found out that you don’t mess with grammacat’s fings! Rocket resently discobered grammaOnyx’s faborit toy sokkies, and was playin with them. Foudini came along, and shocked at the young one’s furward behavior, whapped Rocket upside the head, and purrceeded to take the sokkies away. She was not happy that Onyx’s beloved sokkies were bein played with by anyone else. Rocket sez he just wanted to play, and didn’t know they was speshul.

= Chikky Soop =

There nearly was an uneggspekted pot of cheezy chikky soop at Clover Blossom Farm last week. While Jordi was watchin her baby chix in their foster room next to the kitchen where SnowtaMom was cookin, a baby chick eggscaped. Whoosh, she flewed up to the stove and landed on the edge of the pot! Jordi was quite sure that this was going to be a new tasty dish, but SnowtaMom shooed the pesky birdy away and shut the door.

Meows came to us from Daisy’s mom that Daisy isn’t doin too good. She’s had that kittney failure fur awhile, and is becomin sikker. Her mom is keepin her comfy fur now, and hoping that glow and luv will help Daisy.

Murray’s had a tummyake last week, and has been missin the litterbox on occashun. His frends adbised him that a vetdokter bisit would prolly be best to see what’s goin on.

Rachel Nyfosterkitten picked herself out a new fambly this week after the last applycashun fell thru. There’s a coupla new fosters at the NY house now; a kitten named Charcoal, and a puggy-type goggie named Frank.

= Shrimpie Clan =

The Shrimpie fambly tooked in a 20-year-old kitty who had losted his home, and was not feelin too good. He missed his home and fambly, and just got worser, so he will soon be takin his trip to the Bridge to be at peace again.

Franci’s bizzy helpin with the last Labor Day piknik sellybrashuns, so junior repurrter Lynsi Snowta steps in with a bit on this week’s soshul and travel ebents:
Miss Kitty Noblekit and Jebbie Furlorida have chanjed their weddin date to 9-11. Altho that is a sad day in hisstory, it is a furry good fing to have somefin happy happen on that date. A combinashun batchlore/bridle shower was held fur the happy cupple this week in MeowChat, and many nice gifts were receeved.
The Labor Day actibities were quite a hit in the Village. Startin out with a piknik at Clover Blossom Farm, goin on to a danse down by the Ribber, then a brekfast buffet at Oreo and Vester Idyhokit’s farm ... well, the fun just neber ends! The rest of the weekend was full of many actibities incloodin dunk tanks, bouncin toys, and lots and lots of grate food and fun!
