Snapp, Crackkle, Pop! Crispy, crunchy, crackly. Nope, that’s not the newest brekfast serial in the Village. It’s Clover Blossom Farm! We need rain! Altho fings greened up a bit seberal weeks ago, there hasn’t been a drop of moysture around in nearly a month. The grass hurts to walk on, and plants snapp off at the touch. The corn is all dry, way ahed of skedule :P If any has some spare rain, or purrfurrably storms, would you send them our way? A nice thunderboomer day would be so luvly ...
It’s been a purrty darn good week around the Village, we is happy to say. Not only was there no losses, but the Village gained a brand new lil member. A cool sellybrashun took place on an obskure hollyday, and a contest is about to be revvin up again soon! There are a few kits not feelin their best yet, so hopefully next week will bring eben more good mews ... make sure to read rite here to find out all that’s mew in The Mews!

= New Lil Villager =

The Villagers happily welcumed a new lil one this week. Petie Furlorida’s hooman Aunty Jefer founded a lil kitten by the roadside, in danjer of bein hit by a metalmonster, and bringed him home. Gramma Furlorida thot it was okeydoke to keep the kitten, and we unnerstand that Aunty Kaffy was thrilled at this uneggspected turn of ebents. Petie, howeber, isn’t so sure. She and the others still gettin used to the lil newcomer, as he is to Katie-goggie. It won’t take long til the new lil one ... now named Bailey ... will fit rite in! Welcum, Bailey!

= A Meowmentous Walk =

What some kits take fur granted is a milestone fur others. Lil MaddyLou Wiscat, who has difficulties walkin, took her giant leap fur catkind resently. She was able to take six whole steps by herself like a normal kitty would. It looks like her furapy is payin off! The Villagers were furry purroud of lil Maddy. Willow Pepsicola made a beeyooteeful bloo ribbon mettle fur Maddy’s accomplishment, and grampaRemi Snowta had a speshul button made to commemmemmmeowrate the occashun.

= Whooooo’s Out There ... =

A resent disturbanse outside late at nite had a few kits in a tizzy fur awhile, but it soon turned out to be just luvbirds Amelia Purr and Caleb Pepsicola out fur a late nite stroll. Finkin they’d have some fun scarin the luvvy-duvvy cupple, Sammy Whee, Willow Pepsicola, and Jordi Snowta soon crept out and has been followin them at a discreet distance, waitin fur the purrfect moment to jump and say BOO!

= New Home =

Meows have gotten around the Village that Moxie Mainecat and her fambly was in the market fur a new house, and it wasn’t long afore a nice one was found. Moxie and her hooman and furry fambly eggspect to be movin purrty soon, and altho they will miss the ghostie frends that are in the current house, no doubt there will be many new adbenchurs in the new house.

= Warm Kitty =

What better way to warm up in classic-style than to curl up by a warm woodstofe? Bradley Kasiakit got that oppurrtoonaty resently, when he came out from under the bed long enuff to enjoy a warm snooze. Brad’s been upset about construkshun on the house, and wasn’t too happy when the woodstofe got cool again.

= Meadow Catnip =
Iffen it ain’t one fing it’s anuther. :( Maddie has just started eatin a lil again, and now Meadow wasn’t feelin good. Turns out she mite have diet-beeties, and is on some medisins fur her azzma and the hi-shugar. Her mom been assist-feedin her, but hopefully she will feel betterer enough to eat on her own soon.

= Sammy Whee =
Sammy, who useta way a whoppin 65 pounds, has been gradually losin wate ober the years. His mom founded a lumpie the other day on him as well. Since Sammy can’t see the vetdokter, effurry has been glowin that it just a fatty lumpie.

= Holdin Their Own =
Many of the cats resently not feelin well is holdin their own this week. Muffin StLouie’s red number is still low, but she’s feelin not-bad. Squashy Zilly and Murray Purrple bofe have gotten their plummin workin fur the most part. Honeydew Noble is holdin her own and walkin a lil bit too.

FOSTER CONNEKSHUN

= Wiscatsin =
No sooner did the foster room at the Wiscats’ get all fixed up then a new kitty fambly moved in. A mamacat with four newborned babykits is in there now, and they is all doin well. Name sugjeschuns is bein considered, altho Aunty Norma seems parshul to cheez names this time.

= Minnesnowta =
The last barn foster kitten has finely found his fureber home! Charlie went with his new daddy to his new home to meet his new kitty bruther on Satterday. There is no more grrlkits who haven’t played spades on the farm, so effurry is hopeful that after 12 years, this is the final end of wildkitten huntin and catchin effurry year. ;)
