Well, hallylooyah ... I remembered to write somefin here this week! :) You may have notised that last issue this space was empty ... not intenshully, howeber. You know how you intend to go back to do somefing, and then that thot purromptly leaves your mind fureber? Yep. ;)
Unfurtunately, our week in the Village started out with the loss of anuther longtime resident. The winter months will soon be upon us, and hopefully will give us much needed respitt from the many losses we’ve eggsperiensed lately. One little Village kitty had a missteerious occurrence and close call, while others have been off on more adbenchurs. Halloween is rite around the corner, so don’t furget to keep your eyebolls out fur mews of pardees and other fun to come ... rite here in the Mews!

= Sweet Angel =

Sadly, Honeydew Noblekit made her journey to the Rainbow Bridge early last week. She gotted furry sick with kittney isshues suddently, purrobably bringed on by her strokes. She is sadly missed by momDani and dadDon, hoomansisfur PattiWhee and Scott, her many siblins, and her many friends in the Village. Such a sweet angel will always be remembered ... {{{ }}}

= A Brave Rescue =

The saga of the wanderin kittens didn’t end with them all bein grounded fur swipin a paddleboat last week. Willow Pepsicola, Jordi Snowta, Maddy Wiscat, and fosterkitten Lingling sneeked out fur a late nite rondayvoo, and while Maddy made it home okeydoke and Lingling fell asleep on a bench, Willow was nearly swept away by The Grate Owl. Her dad Vester grabbed her and saved her in the nik of time.
Jordi, off on a midnite stroll to the candy shoppe to see if Aunty Paloma (workin the nite shift) needed help, was also nearly attacked by The Grate Owl on her way back home. Lukkily, her bruther, Bugg Idyhokit had followed her, and soon ressled the Owl to the ground savin Jordi from harm. It was quite an ebening, and purrhaps the youngkits has learned their lessons about adbenchurin alone.

= The Tale of the Sinjed Tail =

A missterry is about in the Village, when Miss Buttercup Midask9 resently turned up with a sinjed tail. Altho her mom and dad and effurry in MeowChat Village has been searchin hi and lo, no one can find anywhere that lil BC mite have gotten burnt tailfeffurs. Not a pilot lite, not an outlet shorted out, not a candle or nuffin. Iffen anykit has any infurmashun on this odd occurrense, please contact Aunty Terri immediately.

= Open Doors =

There’s always been an open door pollysy at the Treehouse ... any critter is welcum to come inside, get a bite to eat, purrop up their footsies, and enjoy a rest. Howeber, the open door is not supposeta work the other way. Resently, a screen came off a winnow, and altho Wheesmom feared one of the kitties had gotten outside, all were good and stayin inside like they was supposeta.

= Windy, Windy =

It’s been real windy around Clover Blossom Farm lately, and the other mornin, the kits found out just how windy it really was. A bigg hunk of willow tree falled down boom at 4 ayem in the morning, and landed rite next to their outdoor pen. The tree squished the side and top of the pen (and broke the porch railin), but fankfully it will be easily fixed and nokit was hurted, and the house was eben okeydoke too.

Effurry seems to be holdin their own fur the most part. Meadow Catnip is feelin betterer and eatin up, altho her sugar number is still kinda high. Sammy Whee is sleepin a lot, but his lumpie isn’t any biggerer and he’s eating some. Effurry else in the Village is doin purrty good, knock on wood ...

= Wiscatsin =

The new Wiscatsin foster fambly was named last week; after careful considerashun, the ‘cheez’ theme was chosen. Unfurtunately, the babykits got URIs, and one little one has gone to the Bridge. Another two are doin kinda poorly, and momNorma has been keeping them warm and helpin them eat and all. Hopefully they will soon recober.

= Lawn Guyland =

Aunty Dottie has been workin hard wif catchin kits and gettin them fixed up, and resently catched some cats and kittens, incloodin a lil long-haired calico girl. The ladies is tryin to catch the rest of the kitties soon.

= Minnesnowta =

Just when you fink the kittens is done ... they isn’t done. No sooner did the last CloverBlossom barnkitten find a home when what did SnowtaMom find by the side of the road while drivin? A wet and shiverin kitten. This lil SOBOL boy will stay until he is older and can be tested and get rid of all his parrysites, then will be adopted out.

Unkle Frank has been havin a really tuff time lately with back owies. He been in and outta the horsepiddle ER, but hopefully them hooman vetdokters will find some way to help him get betterer soon.
