Oh, the wether outside is friteful, but the fire is so deliteful, and since we’ve no place to go .... what’s that you say? It’s not Kitmas yet? It’s Columbus Day and Catnadian Fanksgivin? Well, you’d neber know it by lookin out the winnows here at Clover Blossom Farm! It been snowin all day again today ... that bigg fluffly snowglobe snow ... and we got a coupla inches on the ground alreddy. It sure looks like Kitmas to us! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow ....
It’s been a furry quiet week around the Village, wif most villagers just plannin fur Halloween. Some little kits been havin fun, and we’ve got a brand new colummnn and colummnnist daybueing in this issue. A big welcum to Tares Meowzers as the newest staff member of the Mews!

LOCAL MEWS

= Halloween is Comin ... =

The Village has been havin a wunnerful time plannin fur that fun hollyday of Halloween. Ober at Catnip Farm, Vester and Oreo Idyhokit has been gatherin punkins and showin some of the younger Villagers how to purroperly carve a jack-o-lantern. All the punkins turned out grate, and you can see them displayed in the Village Square until Halloween, when the lil ones will take them to their own homes.
The usual pardees in the chatrooms and the board are bein planned. Sheriff Mufassa Flcountry has been bizzy sortin thru the records in the attic of Village Hall, and findin all the Halloweeny type ones, like Monster Mash.
Ober at the Candy Shoppe, Remi and Paloma is gearin up fur the biggest candy hollyday of the year. Paloma has been workin obertime, wif the assistance of Jordi Snowta, to get all the Halloween themed candies done, while Remi has been keepin up with the regular supplies of choklits and other candy.
The lil kits in the Village is bizzy pickin out what they want to be fur halloween trick-or-treetin, and a day will be planned fur all to help make decorashun fur the Village Square.

= Circus in Town =

While it may not be Brrrnum and Tailey, there is a circus in town, and the purrfurmers are havin a grand time gettin reddy. Charcoal and LingLing MewYork, along with Maddy Wiscat, The Wil Fings Purr, Willow Pepsicola, Jordi Snowta, Bailey Furrlorida, and others is all purrparin a circus act in the old barn near the park, wif lots of fun acts and shows. Hopefully they will put on a grate show fur the older kits in the Village fur a treet.

= Andy Connecticut =
Poor lil Andy been havin a tuff time lately, wif his ears and eyebolls. He gots infekshun in his ear and that vestibule dizease, and the medisins he tooked mite have made him blind-like fur a while. He seems to be seein now, and altho he havin trubble with balance and head tilt, Andy is doin okey so fur with the care of his luvin moms.

= Jebbie Furlorida =
Jebbie hadda go see the vetdokter resently, on accounta he had a bad cold that wouldn’t go away. The vetdokter sed it wasn’t nuffin too seeryus, so Jebbie is takin auntybioticals which will soon make him betterer.

= Quentin Indianacat =
Quentin had a day trip to the vetdokter the other day, to get his purrly whites all shined up. While he was cranky when he got home and hissed at Star, Quentin did just fine and is happy to have it ober with.

= Muffin StLouie =
Muffin had her red number checked at the vet the other day, and unfurtunately it went back down to 24. Effurry is sendin lots good red wishes fur it to go back up again.


FOSTER CONNEKSHUN

Sadly, anuther lil cheezy fosterkitten went to the Rainbow Bridge last week. While one other one was strugglin fur awhile, she is now doing betterer, and the two remainin kittens and momcat are eggspected to recober okeydoke from their URIs.

= Shrimpie Clan =
A foster kitten which had tested pawsitive fur felv purreviously is now testin negatiff, which is furry good mews. Now he can be adopted out soon to a good fureber home.
