BOO! Did I scare you? Well, it’s almost that time of year again, where lil kits dress up in funny costumes and get to begg fur treets, while bigg kits dress up in funny costumes and eat lotsa treets! There’ll be several pardees going on that weekend in the Village, so make sure you start workin on your costume now!
It’s been a bizzy week around the Village, besides the Halloween purrepurrashuns. Some kits has been on the lamb (altho they should know that sheepies really don’t move fast enuff to eggscape furry far), there’s some annifursaries about, and who found somefin mysterious in a closet? Keep rite on readin the Mews, wif all the up to date infurmashun!

= Eggscapes! =
A couple of kits have made a brake fur it resently, which isn’t a good fing. A goggie at the Shrimpie Clan’s house was unknowinly diggin a hole near the outdoor kitty pen, and Bartholomew desided to run fur it. He didn’t get far ... just onto the porch ... and his mom soon figgered out where the hole was and patched it up again.
Smiggle Kasiakit thought it would be fun when her dad opened the garage door (which is her place of residence) to run outside. Smig goes out occashunally on a leash soopervised, but this time she was loose. Lukkily her daddy scooped her rite up and got her back in, where she was safe and sound again.
= Boom, Crunch =
What is it with fallin trees lately? Furst it was the SnowtaKit’s pen gettin squished, and now Mufassa and Isis Flcountry’s pawrents’ car got skwunched by a tree fallin on it. The back winnow was broked up and the car not much good fur anyfing but parts now. Furtunately, a new truck was found, so there won’t be no trubble gettin the kits to vet appoinkments, buying cat food, etc.
= Missterious Appearance =
Topaze and her mom found an interestin fing in a closet not long ago ... a metal bob trapp! What is so missterious is that they neber seen it there afore and have no cloo how it got there. It distappeared again just as missteriously, so hopefully it isn’t some wily bobs finkin they can trap Topaze in the trapp!
= House Huntin =
Sammy Whee and his fambly is still huntin fur a new house, and fink they has founded one that is purrty neato. They and the Noblekits would live a few miles apart, but they fink they would get used to that (eben tho they woulnd’t like it!). The state is still yankin chains on how much greenpapers they get fur the old housies, so it is hoped that gets resolbed soon.
