Brrrrrrr! Baby, it’s cold outside! You know when they gots snow warnins and ice in Furlorida ... it’s dang chillywilly out there! Now those of us up in the frozed norfland is used to cold wether, and eben -20s tempurrachurs don’t faze us much ... more of an annoyance ... but those of you who isn’t used to cold in your area ... fur goodness sake, bundle up! Iffen you need any mippies or scarfs, let us know and we’ll send some, but stay warm and safe!
The year isn’t getting off to a good start with the losses of two longtime Villager resently. We sincerely hope that there will be no more angels this year. We are holdin up much hope fur a good year fur all of our Villagers! Some of them been havin a good time on their own, but as usual ... little trubblemakers find bigg trubble! The Village learned today of the sad loss of a furry longtime resident. Muffin StLouie made her trip to the Rainbow Bridge, after a long courajeous battle with illness. Thru it all, she was the Little Muffin That Could ... she meowed ‘I fink I can, I fink I can ...’ ... and she did, fur many years. She is sadly missed by her hooman pawrents Aunty Dawn and Unkle Bob, her siblins, and many frends in the Village. You can now, Muffinator ... whateber it is you wanna do, you can now ... {{{ }}}

A longtime resident of the Village, Misty ZooCrewKits, has gone on to the Rainbow Bridge. It was uneggspected, altho Misty had been deal with longterm illness. She is furry sadly missed by her momSharon, daddy, hoomansisfurs, feline siblins, and many Village frends. Fly free and happy, Misty ... {{{ }}}
= Abalanche! =
Two young adbenturous kits almost became catsicles resently when they took off on yet anuther adbenchur. Willow Pepsicola and Jordi Snowta took off into the cold bloo snowy yonder on snowmasheens they didn’t quite ask purrmisshun to use. Out and about, after buildin a huje snowkat with Sammy Whee, they nearly were swept away by a roarin abalanche of snow which came down from the hills. Lukkily, Remi Snowta and Vester Idyhokit had gotten wind of the grrls adbenchur, and were in hot purrsoot ... just in time to save them from a snowy demise. The grrls purromised not to take off without purrmisshun again ... which remains to be seen if this is troo ....
= Playtime =
Seberal of the Village goggies is havin a fun time playin with Nortee Whee’s new kong toy. Tarrigo NY, Riley Purr, and Kaeli Snowta all have gone ober to the new Treehouse to play a rousin game of tug and fetch with Nortee.

= Aunty Norma Wiscat =
Aunty Norma is doin well at home, and is purrgressin nicely. She will be goin back to work purrty soon, and hopes to be able to drive by then, so she doesn’t hafta take the tacksi cabbs.
THE MEOWDICAL REPURRT
= Patches ZooCrewKit =
Patches has been losin some wate, so her mom and dad bringed her to the vetdokter. She gotted her blood stoled, and some medisins, and is so fur feelin betterer. She eatin more, and usin the LB, and will go back fur more checkup at the vetdokter later in the week.
= Cookie Connecticat =
Lil Cookie played spades last week, and won her game paws down. A few days later tho, her mom notised her hissin and walkin a lil funny, but it didn’t seem to be related to the spades sturjery. A vetdokter check indicated that it mite be a pulled muskle in her legg, so she is gettin some owie medisin and some rest and hopefully will be back to her mischiffous kitten self again.

Justin hadda checkup at his vetdokters, and his tests from stoled bodily flooids all turned out just fine. He hasta eat some punkin fur awhile so clear out the plummin, but so fur that is workin well.
= Sally and EmmaJean SnowtaKit =
Sally and EmmaJean are bofe going to the vetdokter this week. Sally been peein on the couch alla sudden in the past coupla weeks (and hidin unner the luvseat), and EmmaJean is still rattly-soundin in her lungs from her URI. Sally is still partly feral, so hopefully it just somefin minor cuz she would be hard to treet fur serryus stuff.
FOSTER CONNEKSHUN
Ober in Wiscatsin, the Cheezhed fambly of kitties has gone to the shelter so they can be seen and adopted soon. Momkit and a coupla her kittens are hopin fur a grate fureber home! In NY, lil fosterkitten Peaseblossom finely played spades, and when she was healed up, she went to the fureber home that’s been waitin fur her. She was a lil scared, but furry happy to have a new fambly of her own.
