Here it is, mid-Janyooary ... where does the time go to? Wasn’t it just Kitmastime? It’s still Kitmassy around our house, with the trees and lites and garlands still up, but soon that will be pakked away fur another year. There’s a whole nuther month til the next major hollyday, there’s no weddins planned, so the Village is gonna have to come up with some reason to have a pardee purrty soon!
A rather quiet week around the Village, altho several Villagers has been not feelin too up to purr. One fambly moved into a new home, and there’s been some interestin goin-ons down at the frozed pond. Find out what’s been goin on around our community resently rite here in The Mews!

LOCAL MEWS

= Signs, Signs, Effurrywhere, Signs =

Melly StLouie had quite an interestin tale to tell of a sign from her Bridge sisfur Muffin. Her dad went to the liberry, and as he passed a used book sale table, one book on top caught his eyebolls. It was called “All Cats Go to Heaven” ... and there was a lil black kitty on the cover, just like Muffin. Melly, along with her pawrents and the whole Village, feel sertain that this was Muffin’s way of sayin “I’m here, I’m happy!” What a speshul fing ...

= Clunk, Thunk, Splash =

Some Village kitties had some innerestin eggsperiences resently. Oreo Pepsicola just missed havin a bigg pot fall on her head when her mom bumped it off the counter. Lukkily, she dukked out of the way in time. Michael Idyhokit tried to jump up on some drawers, and slipped off ... only to fall SPLOOSH into a water fountain!

= Locked Inna Clawset! =

Mebbe it’s the wether, but a coupla curious kitties got a time-out in the dark when they eggsplored in the wrong places ... and their moms didn’t notise! Both Triller Whee and Becci Snowta were aksidentally locked in clawsets when they sneeked in to play while their moms was puttin somefin away. They may have learned their lessons ... or mebbe not ... as Becci did it again yesterday!

= Stampedes in the Nite =

Star Indianakit has a sekret that she’s not telling. In the middle of the nite, her bruther Quentin and their pawrents awoke to a large noizy rakket downstairs. They couldn’t figger out what it was, and Star just purrtended to be nappin. She’s not tellin what she was up to that nite in the dark ...

= Wet Couch =

Altho several other kits in the Village, like Tinkerbell ZooCrewKit and Sally Snowta, has been havin wet aksidents on the furnichur, they has the eggscuse of havin yoorinary purroblems. Riley Catnip, howeber, has no eggcuse. He peed on his mom’s bed rite when she was standing there, and boy was she unhappy! Riley hasn’t done it since, so purrhaps it was just and attenshun seeking fing. He got the attenshun!

= Mixed Up Pup =

Bendy Shrimpie has one mixed-up confoozled puppy. A lil fosterkitty was tryin to nurse on the goggie, as kittens sometimes do to other animals. What is so weird is that the goggie started to purrdooce some milk! Eben odder still, is that the goggie has neber been preggo afore. This sertainly seems like some kind of other-worldy eggsperiense. The pup isn’t an alien pomeranian, is she?

= No Coffee =

The Whees has been tryin hard to get to chats again, but after movin, their computer just gave up the coffee. They can’t seem to get the java workin, but they is still hopin to get it fixed and get to chat soon.


HOOMAN BEANS

The hoomans in town has been doin okeydoke fur the most purrt, eggcept poor Wheesmom. She not only bited her tung by aksident, she also smacked herownself in the mouf with a hammer by misteak! Aunty Norma Wiscat is back at skool now, and altho we hasn’t had an update on her furst day, hopefully it went well.
Mufassa FLCountry’s mom started her new job the other day, while Tarrigo NY’s hooman sisfur is still waitin to hear back from the ellyfunk circus hoomans.


THE MEOWDICAL REPURRT

= Patches & Tinkerbell ZooCrewKit =

Patches is not doin well, and may not be with her fambly fur too much longer. {{ }} She is furry sick, but is still seemin to feel not-so-bad, so her fambly is spendin a lotta time cuddlin with her and enjoyin some nice times with Patches. Tinkerbell may be have some yoorinary isshues, so she’s takin some auntybiotix fur that. She will have anuther recheck in a week.

= Justin NYC =

Justin has been going back and forf to the vetdokter so many times in the past few days, that we’ve losted track. He developed a UTI, pawsible from a catheter used fur his purrevious pee-stealin test. Some complicashuns arose where it seems he couldn’t ‘go,’ and he’s had all kindsa tests. Justin is feelin betterer now, and hopefully will get well real soon.

= Sally and EmmaJean SnowtaKit =

Sally and EmmaJean bofe saw Dr. Joel resently, and they is bofe takin some auntybiotix. EmmaJean doesn’t seem to have peenamonia, but she gots a horsie in her froat and a bronco in her lungs. Sally Anne had a UTI wif unyoosual bakteria, so she gonna take medisins fur a coupla weeks. Bofe feel okeydoke, altho they is still have symptoms.

= Minette Wiscat =

Minette had a checkup wif her vetdokter, and effurryfing seems to be goin a-okeydoke. Minette hasn’t lost any wate, and her numbers hasn’t chanjed, so all paws is crossed that she will continue to do well.

= Sammy Whee =

Sammy was gnawin on some chikken, wif no bones, and alla sudden ... ouch! He somehow broked a toofer. His mom is gonna give him some auntybiotix so he don’t get no infekshuns, and hopefully it won’t cause him no purroblems in the future.


FOSTER CONNEKSHUN

A feral kitty that Aunty Dottie Catnip’s rescue had taken in, was resently adopted. It was trooly amazing as KeKe was a furmer adult feral with health isshues, and also solid black ... altogeffur a furry tuff kitty to place. She is furry happy to find a fureber home. A kitty from Tarrigo NY’s house was also resently adopted, and is enjoyin her new fambly.
