Janyooary. It’s a month that most kits and hoomans don’t seem to eber vote as their faborite month. It’s the let-down month after the holldays, it’s cold, there’s no eggcuses to have pardees ... it’s just plain borin! There’s only one way to solve the Janyooary doldrums, and that’s to go on bacashun! There’s an adbenchur about in the Village .... make sure you make your reservashun and join in!
Fur the most part, it’s been a purrty quiet week around the Village. One little kit got a speshul surprise in the mail, anuther has been actin a lil cranky about nuffin much at all, and ... well, you’ll just have to read this week’s Mews to find out what’s been goin on in our fair Village!

Lil MaddyLou Wiscat got quite a surprize in her mailbox this week, from a lawyerkit. Unbenownst to Maddy, Muffin StLouie had willed to her the world-famus “Muffin’s Toona Rolls” resipee. The tradishun will go on, and Maddy has been purractisin her hardest fur day snow, making the rolls just like Muffin useta. Melly StLouie has been coachin Maddy, as well as her mamaAnnie Wiscat helpin out in the kitchen. The Village ankshusly awaits the debut of Maddy’s Muffin’s Toona Rolls!

= Unhappy AuntyKit =

Petie Furlorida has not been a happy camper lately. Her nephewkit, Bailey, who is still a kitten, wants furry much to be frends with his Aunty Petie, but she is havin none of it. She hisses and growls at him, but sometimes kittens get way ober rambunkshus and older kits gotta let them know when enuff is enuff. Hopefully in time, as Bailey grows up, he and Petie will debelop a workin and livin relashunship togeffur.

The Whees do! Finely, after some help from hooman frends, they was able to get the coffee-purrogram that lets us chat workin on their computer. Sammy was gonna surprise effurry at chat by just appearin, but you know Sammy ... he just hadda let that cat outta the bagg! ;)

= Purrogressive Purrgressin =

Tita Hula-Pepsicola has finely learned that her new home isn’t such a bad place after all. She desided to make a foray into momConnie’s bedroom the other nite, and eben jumped up on the nite-table fur some scrinchies. Tita is definitely makin herself at home, and doin well there.

= Unfurtunate Situashun =

Altho it isn’t known fur absotootly sure yet, it is almost sertain that Scooter Pi NY has gone on to the Rainbow Bridge. He has not been seen in two weeks, and most likely is somewhere down the basement. Glow has been sent fur him to be found soon, one way or anuther ...


HOOMAN BEANS

The SnowtaKits all collekted tackses (incloodin treets and snuggles) after SnowtaMom desided to take herownself away fur a weekend. While they claimed to be upset that she had left, the SnowtaKits all welcumed her back with open paws.

Effurrykit who has been sick resently is either gettin betterer or holdin their own. Justin NYC and Sally Snowta are bofe recoberin from their UTIs, while EmmaJean Snowta still battles the bronko in her lungs. Patches and Tinkerbell ZooCrew are bofe feelin comfurrable and gettin lotsa snugglies from their fambly.
