Happy Febrooary! Well, I was gonna say Happy Balentyme’s Day, but since we’re a few days late, Happy Febrooary will have to do. ;) The romantikal hollyday was sellybrated in fine style around the Village, but mostly in purrivate. Bigg pardees weren’t able to be held in chat, as Pethobbyist’s Chat Month guest chats were held and kinda goofed up the kitties’ plans. But I has no doubt that effurry had a wunnerful Balentyme’s Day, and many sweet treets were shared at a late nite pardee. It's Mardi Paws and Ash's Wensday this week, so look fur more pardees and sellybrashuns!
The Village has had to deal with anuther loss this week ... it’s not shapin up to be a grate year in that aspeck so fur. :( Some kittens got togeffur and had a good ol’ time relatin to the Stoopid Bowl, and the adbentures of others in Afrika continues. The Village has lost anuther longtime resident, as Patches ZooCrew slipped away after a resent illness. She is surbibed by her momSharon, dad, two hooman sisfurs, and her kitty siblings ... and many longtime frends in the Village. Be happy and well now, Patches, and we’ll see you again .... {{ }}

= Kitten Bowl =

Bailey Furlorida wasn’t too happy to hear that on teevee during the Stoopid Bowl there was going to be a Puppy Bowl. He thought it wasn’t fair that the puppies got to have all the fun, and kittens only got a hafftime show. So, Bailey organized his furry own MCV Kitten Bowl, and many kittens in the Village, incloodin Maddy Wiscatsin and Willow Furlorida, and eben some kittens-at-hart joined in and had a wunnerful time, referreed by Tarrigo NY. A good time was had by all!

= Rooarrr! =

Iffen you see little white-and-grey and variegated brown lions trottin around MeowChat Village ... do not be afraid! It is only Becci and Jordi Snowtakits, fresh from the groomerlady. They bofe had been gettin more and more matted in resent weeks, knittin themselfs togeffur faster than SnowtaMom could pick them out, so a lion cut was in order. Becci and Jordi bofe agree that they feels free and kittenish with their new short ‘do, and will be purrfekt fur the hot wether on the Afrikan adbenchur.
Meowin of which ... so fur the adbenchurers is still lunchin at the hotel in Afrika, so hurry and join them fur the upcomin fun as they start eggsploring ...

= Scary Fings and Yummy Fings =

Nortee Wheepup discobered quite a yummy treet the other day, when Wheesmom was pullin the jibbles out of a semi-frozed turkee ... turkeesicles! Them yummy frozed turkee jooses was floppin on the ground, and Nortee had a nice time snappin them up!
Ober at the Noblekits house, they is bein caushus about a new resident there ... not a furry critter, but a new sukky masheen. They didn’t have ruggs at their old house, so this sukky monster is something they is not quite sure about yet.

= Star Indianacat =

Star took a trip to the vetdokter resently, and had her toofers all shined up brite and sparkly. She did hafta have a cuppla of them removed, but Star recovered just fine (after spendin some of the day in the company of pink ellyfunks). Bruther Quentin wasn’t so pleased that his sisfur was actin a bit different that day, but he soon got ober it.

= Blueboy NobleKit =

Blueboy is finely startin to feel a lil better, after battlin a weird and long URI and ear infekshuns. He’s been takin his medisin nice, and hopefully soon will be 100 purrcent all okeydoke again.


HOOMAN BEANS

= Aunty Lenore Ccarlini =

Aunty Lenore got her big brake the other day ... unfurtunately, it was her footie that broked! A bone snapped in her foot while she was just strollin along at work. She is takin care of it now, and hopefully it will heal in a few months so she don’t hafta have no sturjery to fix it.


THE FOSTER CONNEKSHUN

= AHAL/Catnips =

Aunty Dottie Catnip has been furry bizzy lately, with not only helping to trap feral kitties, but also helpin out at the clinic where they is getting tootered and playin spades. She has been learnin how to help purrep the kitties fur sturjery, which she finds most interesting. A resent eben results in many kitties gettin altered, altho one kitty eggscaped ... but most likely joined a colony nearby.

= NY =

One goes, and one comes! A ‘bathroom kitten’ at the NY household (we fink his name was Tannis) finely got his new fureber home last week, and was furry happy to go home with his new fambly. A new foster puppy arrived the other day, a mixed breed 4-month-old named Pippen, who is learnin to adjust.

= ARF/Wiscats =

The last batch of foster kitties (The Cheezheads) had been at the ARF shelter, and the last meow we heard is that some of the kittens were adopted and now had lovin new homes.

Franci Pepsicola, the Mews Travel and Soshul Repurrter, is currently outta town on quite an African Adbenchur!
