Well, now isn't this the most funniest thing ... stranje funny, not haha funny! We just finded this issue of the Mews on our computer, which we had thot we had sent out in May! Now, it not showin up in the offishul arkives as having been sent, altho we swear we sent it! Hmmm ... well, anyhoo ... to start out our sinsere attempt to continue sending out the Mews on a regular basis, we will send (or re-send) this issue as a catch up. We are workin hard on the next isshue, which should be out soon. We apawlogize fur the tardiness, but we thot we sended this out! Some infurmashun is older, obviously, but we will send it as is ........


Happy March! It’s that time of year again, when MamaNature can’t quite make up her mind ... is it still winter, or is it spring yet? Here at Clover Blossom Farm, it’s still quite wintery, with feets and feets of snow on the ground, and even a blizzard last week! “Spring” break from skool sounds kinda silly!! But, eben tho it still looks like Kitmas outside, knowing that it is March makes it easier to remember that April is next, and then May ....
It’s been a furry sad last seberal weeks in the Village again. No matter how much we say it or what we do, it seems we can’t stop the sadness of some of our frends needing to leave us. Oh, we know they are happy and healthy again at the Rainbow Bridge, but our harts and their hoomans’ harts ache in missing their daily presence ...{{ }}
Despite these losses, the Village and life does go on for us. Mardi Paws was sellybrated in hi style ober two days, with fun, floats, and of course, lotsa Mardi Paws food! There’s a new cupple datin in the Village, some kitty litterally turned her computer eggsperiense on its side, and there’s some lions roamin loose in the Village! = Winter Angels =

The Village sed a furry sad goodbye to some speshul frends in the last month. It neber easy to see our frends go away from us, and we can only take some comfurrt in knowing they isn’t sick at the Rainbow Bridge and that our harts will always hold the dear meowmurries of them.
After a long illness, Casey Catnip desided it was time to rest, and made his journey to the Rainbow Bridge. He joins his much luved sisfurs Munchkin, Maddie, and Meadow there with joy and happiness. He leaves in sadness his momDottie, dadFrank, other siblins at home, and many frends in the Village. We will always cherish the meowmurries, Casey ... {{{ }}}
Octavia ThreeCalicos earned her wings resently, after an illness, despite much treetment and tests. She joined her calico sisfur there, and they is flutterin around in happiness watchin ober us all. Sad momKaye, calico sisfurs, and many frends is left behind to remember her. {{{ }}}
Cujo TenHouseCats made a sudden journey to the Rainbow Bridge, much to the sadness of his momMaryChristine, who is alreddy goin thru so much. He leaves many sibkits behind, along with lots of frends, and awaits us on a poofy cloud. {{{} }}
A speshul niecegoggie to the SnowtaKits also made an uneggspekted trip to the Bridge resently. Complicashuns after a back injury led to weinergoggie Arie earning her wings. She left a sad momKristen, dadKelly, gramma and grammpaSnowtaMom&Dad, and a bruther weiner, Stetson ... and many Snowta auntykits and unklekits. She’s runnin happy now at the Bridge ... {{{ }}}
Sweet lil ginnypiggy Squeaker ZooCrew has little piggy wings now too, after she took her trip to the Rainbow Bridge. She is sadly missed by her youngmomKatie, grammaSharon, and her kitty siblins. {{{ }}}

= Bigg Chanje on Pethobbyist =

Iffen you hasn’t notised alreddy, Pethobbyist has gotten a new name! Yep, it’s troo ... it’s now gonna be called “Connected By Pets.” There gonna be some chanjes around the place, but don’t be skared ... our messaje boards and chats will still be there! There’s a new added feature, so that you can ‘connect’ with other users and petlovers (kinda like ‘friends’ on Facebook), and read on a newsfeed what they doin. There’s blogs, and much more ... so feel free to click around and get to know the new place!

= All Shook Up =

The Village was shocked and saddened resently to learn of the earthshake and soonami in Japan, and the impack it mite have had on their frends in some areas. Fankfully, Unka John, and cuzzin Shane Orrygone in Hawaii; Paloma Abycat, Nico Catitude, Gonzo & Squashy Zilly, the ZooCrewKits, Aunty Christie, and others in Catifurnia; and the Orrygone kits is all okeydoke. The Villagers bow down their heds and say purrayers fur all who has been affekted by this terrible disaster. {{ }}

= New Villager =

There’s a new furry face around the Village ... effurry welcome Cuddles ZooCrewKit! This purrty kitty was adopted resently after havin been abandoned by purrevious owners, and is happily making herself at home with the ZooCrew fambly.

= Erectail Dysfunkshun Eggsperimentashun =

Little Loki and Grizz Meowzers nearly got themownselfs in a stiff situashun not long ago, when they desided to play with a bottle of viagra falls Mr. PillPills that they found. The cober came off the bottle, and the young kits was battin the pills about ... and their mom almost turned to stone in fear when she discobered what the lil imps was up to. Furtunately, neither one sampled the pills, and purrcaushuns was taken just in case they did. No erectail dysfunkshun goin on with these two curious boykits!

= Foster Care fur Villagers =

The TenHouseCats resently discobered that they were to be put in foster care fur awhie. Altho they wasn’t happy about it, they unnerstood that their mom would be away from home fur awhile (see “HOOMAN BEANS” below fur further infurmashun), and wouldn’t be able to take care of them. The THCs is in several nice homes around the Mew York state area, and hope to be reunited with their mom again before too long.

= Maple Syrupin =

Some of the kittens had a wunnerful time, and was quite purrductive resently, after they went out maple syrupin. They tapped trees, collected sap, and carefully boyled it all down into yummy maple syrup. Much of it was used on Pannacake Tudesday at EmCin’s Café at a huje pannacake brekfast, and it continues to be featured on a weekly brekfast menu there ... there’s a lotta syrup!

= Upside Down and Sideways =

Franci Pepsicola nearly gived her mom a hart attak followed by a stroke resently when she did some creatiff pawboard dansin, and manajed to turn the stuff on the computer monitor sideways! Aunty Connie didn’t know how to fix it at furst, but a system restore did a nice job of puttin fings back in place. Now she also learned a keebord trick to doin it should anykit take up tapdansin on the pawboard again!

= New ‘Dos fur Spring =

Several of the SnowtaKits has been gettin all dolled up in antisipashun of the spring wether. While Becci is still growin out her furcut from Decembrr, Ferris has a stylish cut that his grrl Trickzi loves ... not too short, not too long! Lynsi and Jordi kinda got the reverse of a mullet ... they is shaved on the bottom half, and gots long fur on the top half! It keeps them nice and cleen, yet warm. Poor Bayli got a the full monty ... shaved down to the skin on accounta she was matty (she don’t let SnowtaMom near her with a brush!). Ironically, Bayli has had a complete purrsonality chanje since then, and wants to cuddle more ... that’s a plus that her hubby Henri Wiscat is enjoyin!

= Meowipedia Purroject ... It’s COMING! It’s COMING =

The Meowipedia will be published soon ...Really!! Tthe final touches are bein put on it as we meow! Don’t furget ... there’s still time to send in entries fur the Meowipedia/Dikshunary Purroject! Bayli is nearly done with the furst edishun, but is still akseptin more entries at phkellen@pethobbyist.com until actual publicashun. Revishuns will only be made thereafter effurry 6 months or so, so get ‘em in while you can!

= SnowBunnaBean Whee
BunnaBean wasn’t feelin up to purr lately, and debeloped a lumpie on her neck. Wheesmom thot it mite be cansfur, but as it turned out, it was more like a cyst that had red stuff in it. So fur she is doing okey, but is still bein watched.

= Noblekits =
Several of the Noblekits, includin Greyboy, Gus, Gatito, and Thunder has been dealin with various illnesses or owies lately. Some dealt with respurratory or tummy issues, while others had eyegoopies and other stuff. So fur they is all doing betterer, and hope they continue to.

= Sassy Alasky =
Sassy resently was found to have a lumpy on her, and after some worried days while a bopsy was being purrocessed, releef finely came. Sassy was found to NOT have cansfur, and is doing better again.

= Kaeli & Becci Snowta =
Kaeli also developed a lumpy on her legg not long ago, and since she had cansfur last year, it was a scary time wait fur the vetdokter appoinkment. Lukkily, a needle bopsy showed that it had no mast (cansfur) cells, and mostly fat cells, so no cansfur!
Becci endured a repeet of a tummy upset episode like she had in Janyooary, with not eatin and barfin pink stuff all ober. Once again, she recobered within a few days, so it prolly an irritable tummy situashun or a food allerjy.

= Riley Catnip
Riley had some of his toofers out not long ago, and recobered from the eggsperiense okeydoke. He is bein watched in case any of his other toofers or mouf start gettin bad again.

= Valentine NY =
Valentine manajed to get himownself a case of the ringyworm not long ago, which resulted in a disgruntled household as they ALL had to get baffs and treetments. Hopefully the course is now done, and all are doing betterer.

= Loki & Grizz Meowzers
Loki, who was tootered a few months ago, has been givin pre-lessons to his lil bruther Grizz. Grizz is skeduled to be tootered him ownself on Monday, and wanted to be purrpared fur what would happen. Their pawrents, Kelby and Ashley Catnip-Snowta, has been purromisin lots of treets when the purrcedure is ober with.

= Bradley Kasiacat
Brad has been going back and forf with how he is feelin, and is still eggsperiensin difficulties gettin around with his leggs. He also havin trubbles gettin his tummy to adjust to his medisins, and he and his pawrents gotta deal with messy ooopsies now and then. As of late, he’d been doing not-too-bad, tho.


HOOMAN BEANS

= Aunty MaryChristine TenHouseCat =
Aunty MC resently underwent a quintuple bypass operashun on her heart, and the last we heard, she was doing okey recoberin. She hasta be in a rehab home fur awhile, so she can get all well before she can go home. Alla the kitties is currently in foster homes, cheerin Aunty MC on to get betterer, so they can go home too. They mite be movin to a diffrent place, so effurry is sendin lotsa Glow and good wishes that all goes well.

= Aunty Lenore Ccarlini =
Aunty Lenore has been bouncin back and forf between a rehab home and the horsepiddle, battlin infekshuns and other complicashuns. She is hopin to be able to get back to the rehab home, and then to REAL home again soon, and sez alla glow and purrayers helps her a lot.

= Aunty Bette Connecticat =
Aunty Bette was able to go home from the horsepiddle last month, and altho we hasn’t heard many updates, the Village all purrays and glows that she is doin and feelin okeydoke, and enjoying bein with the kitties and Aunty Sue again.

= Aunty Norma Wiscat =
No, Aunty Norma is not sick! :) She just bizzy bizzy and doing neato fings! She got to fly ober to her most faboritest place in the world tho last week ... France! She bisited Gay Purree while there to give a speech (in Frenchie, no less) to some other impurrtant hoomans. She also made a trip not long ago to ... we furget, mebbe Katsas? ... to also talk about impurrtant stuffs. The Wiskitties miss Aunty Norma when she’s gone, but know she enjoys these trips, and happily await her homecoming again.


THE FOSTER CONNECTION

Foster aminals continue to come and go at the NY home, with the latest bein a Scottie dog who is stayin fur awhile. The black purrshun kitten Swiffer is still there as well.
Ober in Wiscatsin ... no, not at the Wiscats’ house, but at Aunty PHStilts’ house, there is a new foster goggie. The furst one in fack, a lil minpin named Zuzu, who is doin well adjustin.
Aunty Dottie Catnip is furry bizzy these days as usual ... trappin feral kitties, gettin them meowdical treetment and tootered and playin spades. She helps out at a spade/tooter clinic often, and finds it rewardin to see how many kits are bein TNRd.

= All Around the Village =

Meows effery! Well fings ish still cwazy in da village. Some pwaces Spwing has sprung, and in other areas, having blizzards! Don't wike da weafur? Jusht go down da stweet... An dats wat a group uf da village kittlins awr doing. Off on a bike ride. What a great way to spend a warm sunshiney day....
And uf corse der been a couple hollydays to selebwate since we was last here. Furst off, der was Mardi Paws. A day fwilled wit fun an xsitement an uf corse foodies...Da kits had a wunnerfull time dwessing up in costumes an masks an joining in a pawade thwoo da village stweets. Der were pwenty uf beads an moonpies fur effery...an Paloma owt did hurownself wit Creole dishes, while Becci and Paloma threw a Pannacake Tudesday all-day brekfast!
And da kits could not let da biggesht fwull moon in twenty years slip by witowt selebwating it...lots uf hijinks and foodies in DA round...
Lasht but not least was St. Paddys Day...da wearing uf da gween. Sum went sho far as to dye der furs gween. Effery enjoyed Corney Beast an Cabbage an gween beer wit Irish soda bwead....
