New Car Communities
OnlineHobbyist.com is just that, a business that focuses on hobbys online.
Most people are familiar with our pet communities, but with the launch of our
new car communities this will be our first time to delve outside the pet world.
OnlineHobbyist.com founder Jeff Barringer has always loved cars. Literally
attending his first Indianapolis 500 from the womb, you could say he was
almost born into the auto and racing worlds. Growing up in Indianapolis
in the 60s' as the son of a GM staffer, he was immersed in cars and racing
from an early age. By his teens he was already modifying cars and in his twenties was
heavily involved in the car aftermarket industry, doing electronic design
and installation in some of the most exotic sports cars of the era.
With a driving resume that includes such cars as Ferraris, Aston Martins,
Lamborghinis and Porsches as well as American muscle cars such as GTO's,
Corvettes, and Camaros, OnlineHobbyist.com's car community launch is a return
to both Jeff's roots and his passions.
Timed for an official launch before the huge SEMA trade show next week
we wanted to give our users and advertisers a preview look at the new sites.
A few are still being completed but most have their features in place and are
active and functional. Classified advertising on these new car communities
is free and if you are registered as a user for our pet communities you will
find that your already registered to use our new car communities too.
We also plan on launching other hobby oriented communities in 2010.
The current list of new car communities is below. If you don't find a community
for your favorite car yet, it will probably be coming soon. This is just the initial
launch.
