To all recipients of the NCDC Spring 2004 Newsletter -

In the arctle titled "Two Moms Lost Post-Spay", I reported that Sally Poole's Daisy (Ch Windshift Wintersweets JC) died of cardiac arrest after her spay surgery. Cardiac problems were not the cause of her death. The necropsy showed her heart to be in fine shape, and the early post mortem results indicate septicemia as the cause of death. I apologize to Sally for the dissemination of this misleading information and for anything that it implied about the condition of Daisy's heart. I regret that I did not have the correct information to pass along when I wrote the article.
