Hello!
This is a note to remind you that our 11th Annual Chat Month will kick off with a guest chat with Dr. Marion Nestle and Dr. Mal Nesheim, and to invite you to submit questions in advance to be answered by them.
The last two years have made us all acutely aware that all is not as it should be when it comes to the safety and wholesomeness of our food supply.
One of the leading voices in the movement to reform how we deal with food and nutrition in this country is bestselling author Dr. Marion Nestle, the Paulette Goddard professor of nutrition, food studies, and public health at New York University and a visiting professor in the College of Agriculture's nutritional sciences division at Cornell University.
Dr. Nestle wrote a book about the 2007 pet food recall, "Pet Food Politics," and then went on to write a second book, not yet published, with retired animal nutritionist, professor of nutritional sciences and provost emeritus at Cornell University Dr. Mal Nesheim.
Called "What Pets Eat," it's the dog and cat equivalent of her bestselling book about human nutrition, "What to Eat."
We're very honored that Dr. Nestle and Dr. Nesheim have agreed to be our guests Sunday evening, and we hope to see a lot of you there!
If you have questions, you'll have a chance to ask them during the chat, but they'll have a greater chance of being answered if you email them to me in advance at
phchristy@pethobbyist.com.
You can get a link to the chat room and more information here:

There are many more chats during February, and you can view them all there as well.
We'll see you Sunday evening! Tell your friends!
And we'll use this list to send out a transcript when the chat is over, for those who can't make it.
