Marty Becker DVM, the resident veterinarian on the "Dr. Oz Show" and "Good Morning America" joins us to discuss "The Other End of the Stethoscope: How to communicate with your pet's veterinarian."

Co-author of the fastest-selling pet book of all time, Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul, Dr. Becker has written or co-written dozens of other books and is, along with Gina Spadafori, a nationally syndicated pet columnist and blogger at PetConnection.com.

A veterinarian for 30 years and a lifelong animal lover, Dr. Becker's going to share with you the secrets behind how to make sure your vet understands your questions and comments, and give you insider tips on how to make sure your vet is really listening to you. He'll be joining us via streaming audio, and you'll be able to comment and ask questions in our text-based chat room.

Liz shared her expertise with PetHobbyist.com during one of the Southern California's recent wildfires, and helped horse, dog, reptile and bird owners' get their pets to safety during mandatory evacuations.

Donna Reynolds and Tim Racer founded Bay Area Doglovers Responsible About Pitbulls nine years ago. Today, BAD RAP has become nearly a legend in the world of pit bull rescue. From the smallest, most forgotten pit from an unpublicized dog fighting bust, to the exuberant, untrained bully breed dog in their local shelters' kennels, to the high-profile Michael Vick dogs they rescued and rehabilitated, they have directly and indirectly saved thousands of pit bulls' lives across the country.
